How old does my dog need to be?

 

We welcome dogs starting at 6 months old, provided they are fully vaccinated. While we take every precaution, puppies may have a slightly higher risk of illness due to developing immune systems. Senior dogs are also welcome, with cozy spaces available to ensure their comfort. For dogs over 12 years old, we request extra notice to prepare for their specific needs.

 

Does my dog need to pass an assessment?

 

Yes, a trial daycare session is required before your dog’s first boarding stay. This helps us assess their compatibility with our environment and ensures their comfort during future visits.

What is cage-free boarding?

 

Cage-free boarding at PAWS & CLAWS means your dog stays in open, comfortable spaces with other dogs, promoting socialization and reducing stress. Individual rooms are used only for feeding and overnight rest.

 

How are dogs grouped for daycare and boarding?

 

We group dogs based on temperament, size, age, and neuter status to ensure a safe and comfortable experience. All groups are supervised by trained handlers.

Can I tour the facility?

 

Yes! We encourage tours of our facility to see where your dog will eat, play, and rest. For safety, certain areas with free-roaming dogs may be off-limits, but virtual tours are available for these spaces.

 

What vaccinations are required?

 

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Leptospirosis and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). These requirements ensure a healthy environment for all pets.

Do you offer packages or memberships for daycare?

 

Yes, we offer a daycare membership that includes unlimited monthly daycare with pickup and drop-off options. This is a cost-effective way for your dog to socialize regularly.

 

Dog Training

 

What training options do you offer?

 

We offer group classes and private sessions following a structured bootcamp curriculum. Our training programs focus on essential skills and behaviors for both dogs and their owners.

 

How long are training sessions?

 

Sessions last 45 to 60 minutes. Group courses typically include 8–10 sessions, while private sessions usually require 4–5 sessions.

 

Pet Relocation

 

What is your pet relocation service?

 

Our relocation service ensures pets are safely transported domestically or internationally. We handle logistics, documentation, and health checks to make the process stress-free for you and your pet.

 

Who is eligible for pet relocation?

 

We primarily serve the Thai market, offering specialized support for expat families moving to or from Thailand.

 

Policies and Precautions

 

What if I’m late picking up my dog?

 

If you’re running late, please notify us. We offer late check-out for an additional fee. If the delay extends beyond late care hours, your dog will stay overnight, and check-out will occur the following morning.

 

Why do you collect ID or passport information?

 

We require ID/passport details as a security measure to protect against unpaid services or abandoned pets. This information is securely handled and used only if necessary.

 

What health measures should I take before coming to PAWS & CLAWS?

 

To ensure safety, all dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, tick and flea prevention. We inspect all pets at check-in for signs of parasites. While we minimize risks, social environments may expose dogs to common canine illnesses.

Does my dog need to be neutered?

No, we accept both neutered and non-neutered dogs. However, unneutered males may require additional monitoring in our cage-free setup. If behavioral issues arise, we may adjust their experience to ensure safety.

Can female dogs in heat stay?

 

We cannot accommodate female dogs in heat, as this may disrupt group harmony. If a dog enters heat during her stay, we’ll provide separate accommodations until pickup.

 

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured?

 

Our in-house vet tech handles minor issues, and we’ll contact you promptly for anything more serious. If veterinary care is required, the responsible party covers expenses. We also reserve the right to seek care in emergencies if we cannot reach the owner.

 

Can I visit my dog while they’re boarding?

 

For safety and comfort, visitor access inside the facility is limited. We’re happy to arrange brief outdoor visits or allow viewing through observation windows.

How can I book services?

 

Bookings can be made via the Line app. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons. New clients will need to complete a registration form before their first visit.

Do you offer grooming services?
